 Odisha Woman First in country to be awarded by IUPAC

Happiness bloosomed in the Titira village of Balikuda Block of Jagatsinghpur District of Odisha as Mrs. Jyotirmaye Mohanty of this village has been awrded by IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) in 2023.
    Currently she works at Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai, and has published many papers in international Journals like Journal of the American Chemical Society, who has been the first woman in the country to recieve this award by IUPAC.

She has also recieved fellowship of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK. She is the daughter of renowned Dr. Baikunthanath Patra of Cuttack and married to Rasmiranjan Mohanty who is also a scientist.
