All gas consist of a very large number of minute particles, called molecules.  2. The gas molecules are extremely small in size and are separated by large distance. The actual volume of the gas molecules is thus negligible as compared to the total volume occupied by the gas.  3. The pressure exerted by the gas is due to the bombardment of the molecules on the walls of the vessel.  4. The gas molecules collide with one another and also with the walls of the vessels. On Humanity:

"The ultimate goal of life is to express this spirit of the soul"

The soul is the inexpressible breath. The ultimate goal of life is to express this spirit of the soul by subduing the external and internal nature. Express your breath through one, more or all of these – karma, worship, restraint or wisdom – and become liberated. This is the essence of religion. Ideology, institution- methodology, scriptures, temples or other external activities are only its secondary organs.

"Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work, or worship, or psychic control, or philosophy – by one, or more, or all of these – and be free."

This quote by Swami Vivekananda highlights his belief in the inherent divinity of every human being. He believed that each person has the potential to realize this divinity through self-discipline and spiritual practice.

To Youth:

Swami Vivekananda had a special message for the youth, whom he saw as the future of the world. His teachings and guidance to the youth emphasized the importance of self-confidence, self-reliance, and the pursuit of knowledge as the means to achieve success and greatness in life. Here are some of his messages to the youth:

"You are the makers of your own destiny. Rise, awake, and strive for the highest."

The quote emphasizes the importance of being proactive and taking initiative in order to achieve one's goals. Rather than waiting for someone else to guide or direct them, individuals should be self-reliant and take charge of their own lives.

"All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark."

The quote suggests that we often limit ourselves through our own thoughts and beliefs, and that we have the power to remove those limitations and tap into our full potential. By recognizing our own inner strength and capabilities, we can overcome our doubts and fears and achieve greatness.

On Self Confidence:

"In a conflict between the heart and the brain, follow your heart."

However, it is important to note that this quote does not suggest ignoring logic and reason altogether. Rather, it emphasizes the importance of balancing the guidance of the brain with the wisdom of the heart. By doing so, we can make decisions that align with our values and bring us closer to our goals while also considering practical considerations.

"Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached."

Overall, this quote is a powerful reminder that success requires both action and commitment, and that individuals must be willing to overcome obstacles, stay focused, and persist until their goals are achieved.

On Will Power:

"You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself."

The quote "You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself" is often attributed to Swami Vivekananda. It emphasizes the importance of self-belief and self-confidence in spiritual growth.

"The power of the mind is like the rays of the sun when they are concentrated they illumine. In the same way, when the mind is focused, it becomes powerful."

 On Self Inspiration:

"You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself."

"The greatest sin is to think yourself weak."

On Education:

"Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life. We must have life-building, man-making, character-making assimilation of ideas."

"The education that does not help the common mass of people to equip themselves for the struggle for life, which does not bring out strength of character, a spirit of philanthropy, and the courage of a lion - is it worth the name?"

On Dhrama:

"The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!"

"The very essence of Dharma is to hold fast to truth and to act in accordance with it."

On Love and Purity:

"Sanctity , forbearance and devotion - these three and above all love- are essential for success."

"Love never fails, my son; today or tomorrow or ages after, truth will conquer."

"Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction."

"Love is the only law of life, and all other laws are subordinate to it."

On Superstition:

"Superstition is our great enemy, but bigotry is worse. With superstition we are slaves, but with bigotry we are fanatics."

"Superstition is the child of ignorance and the mother of misery."

"It is superstition that stands in the way of the progress of humanity. Old superstitions must give way to new truths."

"The only way to get rid of superstition is to educate the people, to give them rationality, to teach them the laws of nature."

On Endeavour:

"You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul."
